Bakithi is a young, dynamic, driven Professional Town and Regional Planner with a passion for people. He is well-spoken and articulate, and his interests include public broadcasting (he was a broadcaster with TUKS FM for much of his student career), public speaking, and podcasting.
He has extensive stakeholder engagement experience and has been the lead stakeholder engagement specialist in numerous projects: most notable the Dawid Kruiper Precinct Plan and the Frances Baard District Municipality Housing Sector Plan: where he was responsible to manage the stakeholders and interested and affected parties of 3 local municipalities and one district municipality. In addition to this, Bakithi is a key part of the core technical team for the development of the Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone, the Tambo Springs Special Economic Zone, the Karoo Regional Spatial Development Framework and more.
